On October 5, 2012, the Indian authorities initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) suspension grade resin from the European Union and Mexico.
The product subject to investigation is classified under different HS codes falling under 3904.
On April 4, 2014, the Indian authorities issued their final findings and recommended the imposition of a definitive anti-dumping duty. This definitive duty was imposed on June 13, 2014 (Notification No. 26/2014-Customs (ADD), 13.06.2014). This definitive duty is effective for a period of five years.
On 12 June 2019, the Indian authorities terminated the definitive duty imposed on imports of Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) suspension grade resin from the European Union and Mexico. The duty was terminated as it was set to expire.
