Safeguard

On 2 October 2012, the Customs Union of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan introduced an import duty of USD 0.45 per kg of activated carbon (HS 3802 10 000 0). This duty does not apply to the imports from Belarus and Kazakhstan and from the countries which enjoy Russian national system of preferences regime with the exemption of China and India. The duty is in force until 7 September 2014.
