Anti-dumping

On June 27, 2012, the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry initiated an anti-dumping investigation on sodium perchlorate imported from China. The application was filed by M/s Calibre Chemicals Pvt Ltd., which is the sole manufacturer of the product under consideration (HS-8 2829 9010). The dumping is suspected to have occurred between April 1, 2011, and March 31, 2012.

On September 6, 2013, the Indian authorities imposed a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of sodium perchlorate from China. The amount of this duty is USD 0.23 per kilogram.

On 5 September 2018, the definitive duty was terminated on imports of sodium perchlorate from China. The measure was terminated as it was set to expire after a period of five years.
