Anti-dumping

On June 26, 2012, the Egyptian authorities initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of ball point pens from India.
The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code: 9608.1000. The dumping is suspected to have occurred between January 1, 2011 and December 31, 2011.
On February 26, 2013, the Egyptian authorities imposed a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of ball point pens from India. The rate of the duty is 82% of the CIF price with a minimum value of USD 0.02.

On 20 February 2018, the Egyptian authorities initiated a sunset review of the antidumping duty imposed on imports of ball point pens from India.
