In January 2011, the Norwegian government proposed a bill to Parliament on the entry into force of an agreement with the EU concerning extended trade in agricultural products under art. 19 of the EEA Treaty. The bill has passed without amendment on April 5th, 2011.
The bill envisages a gradual liberalisation of trade in agricultural products with the EU. The new quotas as laid down in the bill have entered into force on January 1st, 2012. See Annex II (page 18) of the source for the exact quota on different products.
In addition, several very low tariffs (below 1 Norwegian krone per kg, or below 30%) have been abolished (186 tariff lines at the 8-digit level).
