On 8 July 2011, Thailand has initiated an anti-dumping investigation against flat hot rolled added boron in coils and not coils from China.
The concerned HS codes are: 7225.3000; 7225.4000; 7226.9110 and 7226.9190.
On 26 November 2012, the country decided to impose definitive anti-dumping duties on the subject product.
The dumping margin ranges between 14.28 and 19.47% for selected producers and 19.47% for all others.
On 13 December 2017, the Thai authorities initiated a sunset review of the definitive antidumping duty imposed on imports of the subject good from China.
On 13 December 2018, the Thai authorities extended the definitive antidumping duty on imports of the subject good from China. The rate of duty remains between 14.28% and 19.47%. The duty is extended for a period of five years.
