Anti-dumping

On March 20, 2009, the Argentinian authorities decided to initiate an anti-dumping investigation on imports of butcher's and kitchen knives, with stainless steel blade and plastic handle, from Brazil and China (Resolution 83/2009, 20.03.2009).
The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code: 8211.9210.
The complaint was lodged by Industrias Australes S.A. and Boker Arbolito S.A. The investigation started on the day following the publication of the resolution in the Official Journal of the Argentinian Republic, i.e. on March 27, 2009.
On May 28, 2010, the Argentinian authorities decided to continue the investigation without imposing a provisional anti-dumping duty (Resolution 199/2010, 28.05.2010). Resolution 199/2010 was published in the Official Journal of the Argentinian Republic on June 03, 2010.
On August 10, 2011, the Argentinian authorities decided to terminate the investigation without imposing a definitive anti-dumping duty (Resolution 508/2011, 10.08.2011). Resolution 508/2011 was published in the Official Journal of the Argentinian Republic on August 16, 2011.
