NoOn December 7, 2011, the Federal Administration for Public Revenue of Argentina (i.e. AFIP by its Spanish acronym) has adopted General Resolution 3228/2011 increasing the reference prices set on the importation of certain types of baby carriages (including strollers). The products subject to this measure are classified under the following tariff line of MERCOSUR's Harmonized System: 8715.00.00.
The new reference prices have been increased from a FOB value ranging between USD 6.80 and USD 27.00 per unit to a FOB value ranging between USD 8.00 and USD 31.00 per unit depending on the characteristics of the product. The previous applicable values were set on General Resolution 2777/2010.
This General Resolution affects the following jurisdictions: the Republic of Korea, Democratic People's Republic of Korea, China, Chinese Taipei, Philippines, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
These reference prices entered into force on December 9, 2011.
