In a petition filed on October 26, 2011 a group of four U.S. producers (Allied Tube and Conduit, JMC Steel Group, Wheatland Tube and United States Steel Corporation) seeks the the imposition of countervailing and anti-dumping duties on circular welded carbon-quality steel pipe from India, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, and Vietnam. The United States International Trade Commission determined on November 14, 2012 that a U.S. industry is not materially injured or threatened with material injury by reason of these imports. As a result of the negative determinations, no anti-dumping or countervailing duty orders will be issued.
