On 12 August 2011, the European Commission announced the initiation of anti-dumping proceedings concerning imports of certain aluminium radiators originating in China. The products under investigation are classified under the following HS code subheadings: ex 7616 99 10, ex 7615 19 10, ex 7615 19 90 and ex 7616 99 90. The complaint was lodged by the International Association of Aluminium Radiator Manufacturers Limited Liability Consortium on 30 June 2011.
On 12 May 2012, the European Commission imposed a provisional duty on imports of the subject good from China. The rate of duty is between 12.6% 61.4% the net, free-at-Union-frontier price before duty depending on the company. The duty is in force for a period of 6 months.
On 10 November 2012, the European Council imposed definitive anti-dumping duties on imports of the subject product from China. The rate of duty is between 12.6% 61.4% the net, free-at-Union-frontier price before duty depending on the company.
On 9 November 2017, the European Commission initiated a sunset review of the antidumping duty imposed on imports of certain aluminium radiators from China. This investigation follows the application lodged on 30 June 2017 by the International Association of Aluminium Radiator Manufacturers Limited Liability Consortium.
