Anti-dumping

On July 14th, 2011, the Government of Argentina closed an anti-dumping investigation on certain imports of air conditioning machines (classified under MERCOSUR Common Nomenclature 8415.10.11, 8415.83.00 and 8418.69.40.) originating in Korea, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam. While a preliminary positive determination on the existence of anti-dumping practices was issued, the Government found no evidence of damage on the domestic industry and thus decided to close the investigation. No anti-dumping duties were imposed.

The investigation had been initiated on 16 February 2010.
