Financial grant

On 11 May 2011 the permanent delegation of Japan announced to the WTO their intention to provide financial aid for capital investment projects aiming at reducing the use of rare earth minerals. The financial aid will be granted to 160 projects by the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. The overall budget is 33 billion yens (US$407.7 million.
