Anti-dumping

On March 31, 2011, the Government of Argentina initiated an anti-dumping investigation on certain type of photographic plates and film in the flat, for medical x-rays from the U.S.
This investigation was requested by the Argentinean enterprise Agfa Gevaert Argentina S.A.
The product subject to investigation is classified under the following item of MERCOSUR Harmonized System: 3701.10.29.
 
On 7 June 2012, the Government imposed a provisional anti-dumping duty of 96.90% on imports of the subject product from the United States.
 
On 1 October 2012, the investigation was terminated and the duties were not confirmed due to insufficient evidence.
