Anti-dumping

On December 20, 2010, the Indian authorities initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of aniline from the European Union.
The product subject to investigation is classified under the following HS code: 2921.4100.
On April 13, 2012, the Indian authorities issued their final findings and recommended the imposition of a definitive anti-dumping duty. This definitive duty was imposed on May 29, 2012 (Notification No. 30/2012-Customs (ADD), 29.05.2012). The amount of the duty is USD 110.72 per metric ton. This definitive duty is effective for a period of five years.

On 28 May 2017, the Indian authorities terminated the definitive duty on imports of the subject good from the European Union.
