Anti-dumping

Based on the results of investigation Russia introduces a anti-dumping duty on imports of flat-rolled products of stainless steel (HS 7219, 7220) for 3 years from China (including Macao, Hong Kong and Taipei) at 29.9 - 39.1%, from the South Korea at 4.8 - 62.8% from Brazil (21.1%), from the South Africa (33.3%). The duty is in place from 26 December 2010.

On 22 June 2011, the Customs Union Commission issued Decree No. 699 replacing and thereby terminating the above antidumping duty, see related state act. The decision entered into force on 22 July 2011. According to article 4 of the "Agreement on the application of safeguard, antidumping and countervailing measures in transitional period" of 19 November 2010 when a trade defence measure imposed in the Customs Union enters into force the corresponding national measure is terminated. As such, the above antidumping duty was terminated on 22 July 2011.
