On June 30, 2010 the European Commission initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of Wireless Wide Area Networking (WWAN) Modems originating from China. The investigation was launched following a complaint lodged on 3 June 2010 by Option NV, "the sole producer of wireless wide area networking (WWAN) modems in the European Union, representing 100 % of the total Union production". On 2 March 2011 the European Commission the termination of anti-dumping investigation without duties concerning imports of WWAN Modems originating in China.
