NoOn September 23, 2010, the Mexican Ministry of Economy published a decree that unilaterally reduced or eliminated Most Favored Nation (MFN) import duties applicable to 33 tariff codes of the Mexican Harmonized System.
In accordance with the mentioned Decree, since September 24, 2010, imports of watches, clocks and its parts classified under the following tariff codes of the Mexican Harmonized System benefit from MFN duty free treatment: 9101.11.01, 9101.19.01, 9101.19.99, 9101.21.01, 9101.29.99, 9101.91.01, 9101.99.99, 9102.11.01, 9102.12.01, 9102.19.99, 9102.21.01, 9102.29.99, 9102.91.01, 9102.99.99, 9103.10.01, 9103.90.99, 9105.11.01, 9105.11.99, 9105.19.99, 9105.21.01, 9105.29.99, 9105.91.99, 9105.99.99, 9106.10.99, 9106.90.01, 9108.12.01, 9109.11.01, 9111.10.01, 9111.10.99, 9112.20.01, 9112.90.01, 9113.10.01 and9113.10.99.
Prior to the implementation of this measure, such products were subject to a 5%, 10% or 15% MFN import duty.
