Anti-dumping

On December 8, 2009, Chinese Taipei initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of benzoyl peroxide from China. The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code: 2916.3200.
 
On May 17, 2010, Chinese Taipei imposed a provisional anti-dumping duty on imports of benzoyl peroxide from China. The rate of the duty ranges from 13.61% to 57.28%. This duty entered into force on May 20, 2010.
 
On October 1, 2010, Chinese Taipei imposed a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of benzoyl peroxide from China. The rate of the duty ranges from 4.73% to 59.70%. This duty was collected from the date the provisional duty entered into force, i.e. starting from May 20, 2010.
 
On May 11th, 2015, Chinese Taipei initiated a sunset review of the above-mentioned anti-dumping measure.
 
On 14 March 2016, Chinese Taipei extended the definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of benzoyl peroxide from China. The rate of duty is 2.35% or 26.67%.
