Safeguard

On January 14, 2010 the Goverment of the Dominican Republic initiated a second safeguard investigation on toilet paper following the closing of a similar investigation without imposing any measures on November 26, 2009.
 
On May 4, 2010 the Government of the Dominican Republic terminates the second safeguard investigation on toilet paper without imposing measures. This termination is the result of the offical withdrawal of the request for the application of safeguard measures of toilet paper import of the domestic industry.
