Anti-dumping

On October 22, 2009, the Peruvian National Institute of Antitrust and Intellectual Property Protection (Indecopi) decided to initiate an anti-dumping investigation on imports of zippers from Taiwan (Resolution No. 173-2009/CFD-INDECOPI, 22.10.2009).
The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS codes: 9607.1100, 9607.1900 and 9607.2000.
The investigation was requested on June 9, 2009 by Corporación Rey S.A. It started on the day of the publication of the resolution in the Official Journal El Peruano, i.e. on October 30, 2009.
On December 22, 2010, the Peruvian authorities decided to terminate the investigation on imports of zippers from Taiwan without imposing a definitive anti-dumping duty (Resolution No. 224-2010/CFD-INDECOPI, 22.12.2010). The investigation ended on the day of the publication of the resolution in the Official Journal El Peruano, i.e. on January 9, 2011.
