Anti-dumping

On November 26, 2009 the government of Jamaica initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of portland cement originating from the United States. The products subjected to investigation are classified under the following HS code subheading: 2523.91 and 2523.29.

A preliminary decision affirming dumping but was issued on April 4, 2010. No duty has yet been imposed.
 
On 16 July 2010, the Jamaican authorities terminated the above investigation without the imposition of duties.
