Anti-dumping

On 28 May 2016, the Ukrainian authorities initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of certain types of chocolate and other processed food products containing cocoa from Russia. The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code subheadings: 1806.31.00.00, 1806.90.11.00, 1806.90.19.00 and 1806.90.50.00.

On 20 May 2017, the Ukranian authorities imposed a definitive antidumping duty on imports of the subject good from Russia. The rate of duty is 31.33 %. The measure is in force for a period of five years from 30 June 2017.
