Anti-dumping

On 4 October 2016, the Indian Directorate General of Anti-dumping & Allied Duties, Ministry of Commerce and Industry initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of ofloxacin originating in or exported from China. The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code subheading:3004.20.34. This investigation follows the application lodged by Aarti Drugs Ltd.

On 15 March 2018, the Indian authorities imposed a definitive antidumping duty on imports of ofloxacin from China. The rate of duty is between USD 2.58 and 9.48 per kg depending on the company. The duty is in force for a period of five years.
