Anti-dumping

On 31 August 2016, the Indonesian Anti-Dumping Committee (KADI) initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of steel wire rods from China. The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code subheadings: 7213.91.10.00, 7213.91.20.00, 7213.91.90.00, 7213.99.10.00, 7213.99.20.00, 7213.99.90.00 and 7227.90.00.00. The complaint was lodged by PT Ispat Indo and PT The Master Steel MFc.

On 3 April 2018, the Indonesian authorities imposed a definitive antidumping duty on imports of steel wire rods from China. The rate of duty is between 10.2% and 13.5%.

The definitive duty was terminated on 16 April 2021.
