Anti-subsidy

On 18 September 2014,the Ukrainian authorities initiated an anti-subsidy investigation on imports of cars from Russia. The products subject to investigation are classified under HS code 8703.
 
On 13 November 2015, the Ukrainian authorities imposed a definitive countervailing duty on imports of the above product from Russia. The rate of duty imposed is between 10.4% and 17.66% depending on the company. The duty is in force from January 2016 for a period of five years.

The duty was terminated on 2 January 2021.
