On 28 June 2016, the Ministry of Commerce issued a notification ('2016'323) announcing the 2016 second batch of export quotas on silver, antimony (antimony oxide as well as antimony including antimony alloy and its products), indium, tin and phosphate rock. Comparing to the quota numbers in the 2016 first batch announcement, there is a significant increase in quotas of non-ferrous metals, see related measure.
On silver the quota was increased from 247 to 1,621 tonne. On indium the quota was increased from 6,491 to 69,300 kilogram. Antimony and its products the quota was increased from 2,487 (antimony and its products) to 18,163 (antimony oxide as well as antimony including antimony alloy and its products) tonne. On tin the quota was increased from 0 to 5,113 tonne. On phosphate rock the quota was increased from 0 to 299,999 tonne.
