Import licensing requirement

Decision No. 334 of 18 June 2010 of the Commission of the Customs Union of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan authorised Kazakhstan to introduce a temporary import restriction in the form of import licensing with respect to sugar (classified under code 1701 99) from 1 September 2010 to 1 March 2011.
This import licensing is not applied with respect to trade with Russia and Belarus (article 3 of Decision No. 334).
UN Comtrade trade flows for 2009 have been used in order to identify the affected trading partners.
