Anti-dumping

On 17 June 2010, the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China initiated a sunset review of the anti-dumping duty imposed on imports of hydrazine hydrate from Japan, the Republic of Korea, the United States and France (MOFCOM Announcement No. 34 of 2010). The product subject to investigation is classified under the following HS code subheading: 2825.10.10. The duty was originally imposed by MOFCOM Announcement No. 36 of 2005. The amount of the duty imposed on imports from France is between 68% and 184%. The amount of the duty imposed on imports from Japan is 184%. The amount of the duty imposed on imports from the Republic of Korea is between 28% and 184%. The amount of the duty imposed on imports from the United States is 184%.

On 17 June 2011, the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China extended the existing anti-dumping duty imposed on imports of hydrazine hydrate from Japan, the Republic of Korea, the United States and France following the above sunset review (MOFCOM Announcement No. 32 of 2011). The definitive anti-dumping duty imposed by MOFCOM Announcement No. 36 of 2005 is extended for a period of five years.

On 20 June 2016, the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China announced the termination of the above definitive duty as no application for a sunset review had been lodged. As such the measure expired on 17 July 2016 (MOFCOM Announcement No. 27 of 2016).
