Import tariff

The International Administration Commission of South Africa has recommended a reduction in the rate of customs duty on tubes, pipes and hoses of vulcanised rubber (excluding hard rubber) reinforced or otherwise combined only with metal, without fittings, with an inside diameter of 100mm or less from 15% ad valorem to free of duty, through the creation of a separate 8-digit tariff sub-heading.

Affected trading partners
The GTA retrieves its data on affected trading partners from UN Comtrade. However, for the year 2009, the database was not able to provide the affected trading partners for Botswana, Swaziland, and Lesotho.
