Decree No. 1407-p of 1 July 2016 allocated state subsidies to 19 top administrative units of the Russian Federation for development of regional cattle breeding programmes.
The subsidies are at the amount of 1.53 billion RUB (approximately 23.6 million USD). The state funds are allocated as part of the state programme for agricultural development and regulation of the markets of agricultural products, raw materials and food in 2013-2020.
