Anti-dumping

On 30 May 2016, the Argentinian authorities initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of certain warp and weft fabrics from Brazil, China and Peru (Resolution 102/2016). The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code subheadings: 5112.11.00, 5112.19.10, 5112.20.10, 5112.30.10, 5112.90.00 and 5515.13.00. The complaint was lodged by LINKOLAN SAIC.
 
On 7 December 2016, the Argentinian authorities imposed a provisional anti-dumping duty on imports of the subject good from Peru, China and Brazil. The rate of duty on imports from Brazil is ad valorem 18% of the declared FOB value. The rate of duty imposed on imports from China is ad valorem 154% of the declared FOB value. The rate of duty imposed on imports from Peru is ad valorem 4% of the declared FOB value. The measure is in force for a period of 6 months.

On 30 November 2017, the Argentinian authorities terminated the antidumping investigation on imports of the subject good from Peru, China and Brazil without the imposition of definitive duties. Provisional duties collected if any are released.
