Anti-dumping

On 27 April 2016, the Indian Directorate General of Anti-dumping & Allied Duties, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of amoxycillin originating in or exported from China. The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code subheading: 2941.10.30. This investigation follows the application lodged by Aurobindo Pharma Limited.

On 16 May 2017, the Indian Ministry of Finance imposed a definitive antidumping duty on the subject good from China. The rate of duty is between USD 2.83 and 8.71 per kilogram depending on the company. The duty is in force for a period of five years.
