NoOn May 25, 2016 PCI Nitrogen, LLC filed a petition seeking the imposition of countervailing and anti-dumping duties on ammonium sulfate imported from China. On July 8, 2016 the U.S. International Trade Commission determined that there is a reasonable indication that a U.S. industry is materially injured by reason of imports of ammonium sulfate from China that are allegedly subsidized and sold in the United States at less than fair value. On October 25, 2016, the Department of Commerce announced its affirmative preliminary determination in the countervailing duty investigation.
On November 2, 2016, the Department of Commerce announced its affirmative preliminary determination in the anti-dumping duty investigation.
On January 10, 2017, the Department of Commerce announced its affirmative final determination in the countervailing duty investigation.
On January 18, 2017, the Department of Commerce announced its affirmative final determination in the anti-dumping duty investigation.
On February 8, 2017 the U.S. International Trade Commission reached an affirmative final injury determination. As a result, the Department of, Commerce will issue anti-dumping and countervailing duty orders on imports of this product from China.
