Import tariff quota

On 5 May 2016 the Brazilian Foreign Trade Council (Camex) issued Resolution No. 41 reducing the import tariff on barium carbonate from 10% to 2% limited to a quota of 7,300 tonne. The subject good falls under the Mercosur Common Nomenclature (NCM) 2836.60.00. The measure entered into force on 6 May 2016 for a period of 12 months.
Affected trade partners are identified based on the UN Comtrade's import data from 2014.
