Decree No. 668-p of 14 April 2016 allocated state subsidies to 16 top administrative units of the Russian Federation for development of the cattle breeding sector.
The subsidies are at the amount of 2.95 billion RUB (approximately 44.59 million USD). The state funds are allocated as part of sub-programme 'Development of the cattle breeding' of the state programme for agricultural development and regulation of the markets of agricultural products, raw materials and food in 2013-2020. Further conditions for provision of these subsidies can be found in the rules for support of economically important regional programmes for development of the local agricultural farming.
The GTA includes state guarantees and other financial incentives that are likely to affect the restructuring and performance of firms facing international competition, whether from imports, in export markets, and from foreign subsidiaries.
