Anti-dumping

On 12 January 2016 the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of distiller's dried grains with or without solubles originating in the United States (Announcement No. 2 of 2016). The products subject to investigation are classified under HS codes: 2303.30.00. The complaint was lodged on 19 November 2015 by the China Alcoholic Drinks Association on behalf of the domestic industry of the subject good.
On the same day the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China initiated an anti-subsidy investigation on imports of the same product from the United States, see related measure.

On 23 September 2016, the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China imposed a provisional anti-dumping duty on imports of the subject good from the United States. The rate of duty is 33.8% ad valorem.
 
On 12 January 2017, the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China imposed a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of the subject good from the United States. The rate of duty is between 42.2% and 53.7% ad valorem depending on the company. The measure is in force for a period of five years.
