No On 8 May 2010, the European Commission issued regulation 397/2010 on the quantitative limits of out-of-quota exports of sugar and isoglucose.
Compared to the previous regulation (cf. Related Measures), the limit for sugar was increased from 500'000 tonnnes to 650'000 tonnes. Furthermore, the Commission introduced a quantitative limit of 50'000 tonnes on isoglucose.
The limits shall be in force from 1 October 2010 until 30 September 2011.
On 16 April 2011, the Commission renewed the limits for the following marketing year as well by issuing regulation 372/2011. However, on 1 December 2011, the Commission published regulation 1238/2011 changing both quantitative limits. Hence, this measure is no longer classified as implemented.
