On 1 January 2016, the Chinese government increased its oil export quota for the first quarter of 2016. Compared to the first quarter of 2015, the quota was raised from 9.75 million tonnes to 20.93 million tonnes. Furthermore, five new refineries were allowed to export within the prescribed quota.
The list of affected trading partners is based on 2014 figures.
