On 1 January 2016, the Indian Directorate General of Anti-dumping & Allied Duties, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of aluminium radiators, aluminium radiator subassemblies and aluminium radiator core from China. The products subject to investigation are classified in part under the following HS code subheading: 8708.91.00. This investigation follows the application lodged by Banco Products (India) Ltd.

On 12 May 2017, the Indian Ministry of Finance imposed a definitive antidumping duty on the subject good from China. The rate of duty is USD 22.89 per item. The duty is in force for a period of five years.

The definitive duty was terminated on 11 May 2022.
