On 30 March 2016 the Russian Government (according to Decree No.540-p) allocated state subsidies for the establishment and modernisation of local agro-industrial units.
The total state subsidies are at the amount of 9 billion RUB (approximately 132 million USD). Their break-down per various purposes is as follows:
Legally, Decree No.540-p forms part of the State Programme for Development of Agriculture and Regulation of the Markets of Agricultural Products, Raw Materials and Food for 2013-2020, which has been used for the identification of the potentially affected tariff lines.
The GTA includes state guarantees and other financial incentives that are likely to affect the restructuring and performance of firms facing international competition, whether from imports, in export markets, and from foreign subsidiaries.
