Anti-dumping

On March 28, 2016 the Vanadium Producers and Reclaimers Association and its members (AMG Vanadium LLC, Bear Metallurgical Company, Gulf Chemical & Metallurgical Corporation, and Evraz Stratcor, Inc.) filed a petition seeking the imposition of anti-dumping duties on ferrovanadium imported from Korea. The first step in this investigation is the preliminary injury determination by the U.S. International Trade Commission, which reached an affirmative determination in its May 11, 2016 vote.
On October 26, 2016, the Department of Commerce announced its affirmative preliminary determination in the anti-dumping duty investigation.
On March 17, 2017, the Department of Commerce announced its affirmative final determination in the anti-dumping investigation.
On April 19, 2017, the U.S. International Trade Commission reached an affirmative final injury determination. As a result of this ruling, the Department of Commerce will issue an anti-dumping duty order on imports of this product from Korea.
