On 6 October 2015, the government of Argentina via Resolution 3803 raised the "criterion values" (valores criterio de carácter preventivo) for imports of products falling underHS Code 9405.10.99.
These raised "criterion values" correspond to a FOB value of USD 7. 70 per kg for the following countries: China, Democratic People Republic of Korea, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan, Pakistan, Republic of Korea, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Viet Nam. Nevertheless, with only China, Republic of Korea and Malaysia did Argentina in 2014 had trades of over USD 1,000,000. The previous import criterion values corresponded to a range of FOB values of USD 3.80 to USD 4.10 per kg.
