According to a press release, published on the official website of the Prime Minister of Republic of Kazakhstan, dated 6 April 2015.35billion tenge (approximately 101.50 million USD) of the National Fund are to be allocated to support the domestic machine building.
The Vice Minister, Mr Kusainov, clarified that the auto manufacturing sector is to receive 20 billion tenge, the helicopter production 10 billlion tenge, and the passenger car production 5 billion tenge. He stated that these measures are to enhance import substitution and sustain production.
The GTA includes state guarantees and other financial incentives that are likely to affect the restructuring and performance of firms facing international competition, whether from imports, in export markets, and from foreign subsidiaries.
