No On 16 July 2014, the German Eximbank KfW announced it would provide an export credit worth 1.6 billion EUR and will be used by the Miami-based Norwegian Cruise Line to purchase two new cruise ships. The ships will be manufactured by the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany.
According to the press release, "KfW IPEX-Bank took on the structuring for the overall financing and its commitment of the overall loan amount has ensured the order for Meyer Werft. The loan is to be syndicated to an international consortium of banks" (cf. Sources).
The product at hand may be classified at the 6-digit level (890110). Since according to the UN Comtrade database, the United States did not have bilateral trade flows worth more than 1 million USD in 2013 for that 6-digit HS code, no affected jurisdiction has been selected.
