Export tax

On 17 July 2014, the Egyptian official gazette published a decree imposing an export duty for several kinds of raw materials like natural sands, marble and granite. After the above mentioned date every exported ton of marble and granite will be charged 200 EGP (26 USD), as well as every exported ton of natural sands will be charged 50 EGP (6.5 USD).
