On 21 August 2015, the South African Revenue Service (SARS) reduced the customs duty on wheat and wheaten flour. The following rates apply to all countries outside the Southern African Development Community (SADC):
The duty is calculated as the difference between the World Reference Price (WRP) and the Domestic Dollar-based Reference Price (DDRP).
The previous duty change on wheat was on 19 June 2015 and can be consulted under related measure no. 9911.
Update
On 25 September 2015, the duty was increased. Please, consult measure no. 10085 under Related Measures.
