NoOn 27 July 2015, the British government announced that it would make available up to GBP 1 billion (USD 1.6 billion) in export guarantees for Indonesian infrastructure projects. The Prime Minister's Office, before a visit of Mr Cameron in Jakarta, said it hoped "this financing could pave the way for growth of 200 million GBP worth of exports to UK".
The press release stated that potential infrastructure investment projects would include a 400 million GBP sewage treatment system in Jakarta as well as a 66 million GBP geothermal power project.
