ANNOUNCED AS TEMPORARYNo
Labour market access
On 29 August 2014, the Australian Government announced plans to launch a pilot Designated Area Migration Agreements (Dama) Program in Darwin in the Northern Territory. Its purpose is to attract semi-skilled guest workers, for example truck drivers, cooks, childcare workers, in order to combat labor shortages.
The GTA will provide additional coverage, when it becomes available.
