On 27 January 2014, the Ministry of Finance and the National Development and Reform Committee jointly released the Circular regarding the Continuation of the Cancellation of the Inspection and Quarantine Fee of Export Products (Caizong '2014' No.6).
For the purpose of releaving the burden of export firms and the stable increase of export, in the year of 2014, all inspection and quarantine fees for exported product as well as their transportation equipment and containers were cancelled.
The stated measure is the second of its kind. The Chinese government had abolished the fees already in part of the previous year (see related measure).
