The concession went to the Infra-America consortium consisting of Brazilian Engerix and Argentinian airport operator Corporacion America, each holding a 50% stake. They will have three years to build the airport and received a 25 year license to manage it.
Besides this, in the case of the Natal airport, the Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES) provided a subsidized credit of 329.3 million Real (US$ 200 million) which covers 75% of the investments.
